Glide among the throws of
river tides and still waters,
coloured like a spring blush,
of joyus faces of blooming desire,
rejoicing in the embrace of
the noonday that comes,
after the chill of the night,
has stilled the storms of life,
hibernating in a frozen clam,
awaiting for the spring of youth,
to welcome the bloom of
the effervescent waterlillies,
dancing on the glassy ballroom,
with a soiree of others on this starlit night,
emerald lily pads bouncing
to the music filled atmosphere as
the birds hum singing a sweet tune,
to the radiance found in you.
Waterlily dance with us and
show us your dress,
for spring is breaking
to the rise of this flower show.
Water lily, so unique,
you dance so lonely on this floor,
and yet you are the cinderella,
of this crowded floral banquet,
Dressed like a dazzling queen,
All men are in awe of you.
Waterlily, you are so pure,
Your face is like a blushing bride,
awaiting to meet her prince.
You bloom so quietly and so graceful,
as you show us the dazzle of your gown.
