Soul Searching Reverie

Soul Searching Reverie

Motionless solitude,

In which the mind wonders,

Through open vast spaces,

Of locked in memories in time,

Dissipating between,

The sands that chime,

Through the thrashing waves,

That conceal these painful wounds,

Now drowned by the sound,

Of a lonely heart that broods,

Of a missing emotion,

And a sombre sensibility,

Deafened by the chilled sky,

Followed by this tranquility,

And a frosty air,

Frozen by its futility,

Leaving a crusted soul,

Yet transforming,

Into marveled beauty.
